Acting for beginners in English
The workshop: Actor for beginners is a great opportunity to shoot in a short film with the students of Act’in in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Acting a role, playing with emotions, the camera, understanding and adapting your acting to the constraint of the camera, storybord, lights, organisation of a shoot … You will have the opportunity to make your first cinematic experience while developing your skills and your creativity to produce a beautiful movie.
During the workshops, you will be guided and advised to develop your acting skills and make a concrete film.
During this workshop, we will cover…
You will have the opportunity to :
- Build and develop a character.
- Learn a script.
- To make proposals.
- Filming a short film in real conditions.
Our purpose will be to:
- You guide the best to play as the best as possible.
- To help you develop your character.
- You bring acting techniques adapted to the scenario and the shooting.
Points discussed during the year :
- Creativity: Make original proposals.
- Acting: act a character with the constraints of the camera.
- Shooting: Learn to play with different angles and highlight the scenes.
- Organisation of a film shoot.
The prerequisite to participate at the Acting workshop:
You don’t need to have particular experience to participate at the Acting workshop for adults.
It is necessary to be or to be more 18 years old.
The students will commit on some constancy. In fact, acting to make a short movie is a group adventure. In order to facilitate the cohesion of the group, the integration of different students and to improve correctly your skills, thank you to minimize your absences.
Tips:
- Day: Thursday
- Hours: 2pm-4pm & 1pm-5pm
- 1 session of 2 hours + 2 sessions of 4 hours. ( total: 10 hours)
- Students par group: 4 max.
- Locations: Studio 5, Old Paradise Yard 20 Carlisle Lane, London SE1 7LG + TBC
- Price: £250/person.
