Performed on 25 June 2017, Drinks on the Quay was Act'in Theatre's first major production. For this production, the company chose to bring together several theatrical worlds by combining extracts from classic plays with an original piece. Unfortunately, the archives of this second part no longer allow us to recover the full text today. The entire performance took place on the platform of an SNCF railway station. In this place of constant movement, the characters crossed paths, reunited and disappeared with the rhythm of arrivals and departures, giving rise to numerous scenes performed by Act'in Theatre’s students. Gradually, the platform transformed into a true closed-door drama, culminating in a shared apéritif. A collective creation full of movement, encounters and contrasts, which marked an important milestone in the history of the company. Original piece written and directed by Candice Desmet.
