What the aim of these courses ?
The aim is to make the professional techniques of the performing arts accessible to non-performers. As an artist, our primary tool is ourselves. We develop essential skills to understand ourselves, manage our responses, master our emotions, presence and communication — all fundamental tools in daily life, both personally and professionally.
The preparation courses lay solid foundations. The advanced courses go further, with a more technical and demanding level — it is essential to have clear foundations before accessing them.
Are the courses really accessible to all levels?
Yes, absolutely. Whether you have never set foot on a stage or already have some classes behind you, the courses are designed to be accessible to everyone.
Simply check the title of the course you want: if it says “Preparation”, no prior experience is needed. If it says “Advanced”, it is recommended to have completed the Preparation course first, or to have some existing knowledge.
How long does it take to complete a course?
The courses are designed to be flexible and progressive. They are divided into chapters made up of short videos, generally between 2 and 7 minutes long, taking each point step by step. Total course duration is on average between 2h30 and 5 hours depending on the programme chosen.
You have unlimited access to all content, allowing you to follow the course at your own pace and revisit topics as many times as you need.
Are the courses live or pre-recorded?
The courses are pre-recorded. This allows you to progress at your own pace, rewatch the content as often as needed and integrate the techniques step by step.
In addition, a members’ area is available for questions and discussions, a WhatsApp group helps create connection and share resources, and Candice remains available for one-to-one support if needed.
Do online courses replace in-person workshops?
No. They are different but complementary experiences. Online courses allow you to work at your own pace, from anywhere, learning the foundations and preparing yourself. In-person workshops take place in our London studios and allow you to practise in a group, with Candice’s live feedback and corrections.

What happens after purchase?
After purchase, you receive a confirmation email. You can then access the course using the login details created during registration. All chapters are available immediately and with unlimited access. A private members’ area will also be opened automatically.
Is the course certified?
No, the course is not certified. Act’in Theatre is a London-based company founded in 2015. Our legitimacy comes from our artistic experience, our international presence and, above all, our students’ feedback.
These courses are not designed to provide a professional qualification, but to transmit practical tools and support personal and artistic development.
Is it a solo or group course?
The course is designed to be followed individually. However, the skills you develop can then be applied in daily interactions or in group settings.
How can I follow the course in the best conditions?
To get the most out of the course: approach it without judgement, wear comfortable clothing, choose a calm space where you feel at ease, and be alone so you can express yourself freely.
The theory videos can be watched anywhere. For practical exercises, choose a familiar space where you can move and express yourself freely.
Are the courses available in English?
