This show was created and premiered on 12 November 2025 at Toulouse-Lautrec in London by Act’in Theatre. This evening, entirely dedicated to improvisation in English, brought together on stage the performers from Act’in Theatre’s improvisation workshops, as well as The Parentheticals. The first half of the show celebrated the students from the English improvisation workshops, who took on a series of games, challenges and improvised scenes in front of the audience. Through a variety of worlds, unexpected characters and ever-changing situations, they showcased the incredible richness of improvisational theatre. In the second half, The Parentheticals created a fully improvised long-form story, built from the audience’s suggestions. With no script and no preparation, the improvisers invented characters, storylines and twists in real time, delivering a completely unique performance.
