Performed on 8 February 2022, The Three Sisters, Entre Act’ #6 tells the turbulent story of three half-sisters who have only just discovered each other’s existence following the death of their mother. It all begins in Elsa’s flat, where a young woman with an established life, a home of her own and a carefully organised routine is preparing to have dinner with her fiancé. Her well-ordered world is quickly turned upside down by the arrival of Lola, her new half-sister: a free-spirited, chaotic and homeless woman who turns up with her suitcase and her beers, making herself at home. While Elsa agrees to let her stay for one night, Didier, her neighbour, arrives with flowers to offer his condolences. He immediately recognises Lola, with whom he had an affair several years earlier. However, their reunion quickly falls apart when Lola struggles even to remember his first name. Another unexpected visitor then appears: Monsieur Lecœur. He has not come for dinner or to offer his condolences, but to tell Elsa that her fiancé is leaving her. He has hired Monsieur Lecœur’s agency so that a professional can end the relationship on his behalf. Elsa discovers, with disbelief, that it is now possible to outsource even the ending of a love story. At that very moment, Stella, their third half-sister, arrives. Convinced that she is about to receive a promotion, she asks to use Elsa’s beautiful flat to host a professional dinner with her boss and his wife. She pretends that she lives there and turns Monsieur Lecœur into an improvised chef in order to create the illusion of perfect social success. But the dinner does not go according to plan. Stella realises that her boss has not come to offer her a promotion, but to ask her to invest a large sum of money in his company. The situation becomes completely out of control when Lola and Elsa return home completely drunk and Stella introduces them as artist neighbours. Between lies, misunderstandings, alcohol and uncontrollable impersonations, the two sisters shatter the carefully constructed image Stella has created. Her boss eventually discovers that she does not live in the flat and that she no longer has the money required to invest in his company. A fast-paced and unconventional comedy about family, appearances, romantic break-ups and professional ambitions, in which three women who have nothing in common suddenly discover each other… and learn to become sisters in the middle of chaos.
