This performance was created and first performed on 16 November 2024 at the Chelsea Theatre in London by the company Act’in Theatre. When a doctor’s waiting room in a small village transforms into a true meeting place, the characters interact and each one has a good reason for being there. Everyone carries their own wounds. But will they be able to resolve their problems, overcome their prejudices and face their own truth? Do they understand the impact of their struggles on those around them? Suffering feeds on itself, trapping and isolating us, until we forget that the real solution may lie outside. On Saturday 16 November, The Gueules de Bois Troupe took us on an emotionally intense journey on the stage of the Chelsea Theatre.
