La Prescription / SHOW

Our show:

This show was created and produced for the first time on 22 April 2023 at the Trinity Laban Theatre in London by Act’in Theatre.

On one side, there is the private clinic, where money, appearance, efficiency and superficiality prevail. Between doctors who prescribe pills without empathy, and doctors who perform cosmetic surgeries without thinking, it is hard to find an once of humanity…
On the other side, the public hospital, decayed, overworked, filthy and under-resourced, with all of its brutal ups and downs, where life and death meet each other on a daily basis.
What happens when two entirely separate universe collide? When the wall falls between the worlds?

Discover the white lab coat’s sphere of the public hospital and the private clinic in this 5-act play full laughter, misunderstandings and emotion, all performed in a beautiful dance conservatory!

Written and directed by Candice Desmet.
